Maksym Krippa’s attempts to mask his Russia and casino links following his acquisition of Kyiv’s "Ukraine" hotel prove unsuccessful
The privatization of the "Ukraina" hotel, situated on the Alley of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred in Kyiv, sparked significant interest not only because of the impressive sum of 2.5 billion UAH but also due to its status as the most expensive real estate acquisition to date by one of Ukraine’s most private yet talked-about businessmen, Maksym Krippa.
This time, the entrepreneur broke his silence and answered some questions from Forbes-Ukraine, in particular, rejecting rumors about his involvement with the IT company Evoplay, as well as the gambling operators GGBet and "Vulkan." However, as "Komentari" found out, Maksym Krippa could, to put it mildly, have kept silent about some circumstances that caused these rumors and didn’t directly refute them.
For instance, although Evoplay IT company tries to position itself as a developer of online games, in reality, its "gaming" products represent games or "slots" for online casino slot machines. But there’s something even more interesting.

When registering its trademark for the online casino "Vulkan," they acted more wisely - another person became the representative. The casino operates under the trademark VULKAN CASINO under the license of is another Cypriot company - ONE WORLD SECRETARIAL LIMITED. And surprisingly, the director of the latter is the same Theodoros Theodorou, for whom Krippa himself worked as a director 5 years before, and who later left the future owner of the online casino "Vulkan."

As a result, it looks like despite Maksym Krippa’s statements, his LLC "Meyncast" is indeed connected with Evoplay, GGBet, and "Vulkan" through the figures of Sandra Rodriguez and Theodoros Theodorou.
However, Maksym Krippa did not wish to explain or refute these connections and the related questions in his answers to Forbes-Ukraine in detail.
